Explore Workshops

Sunday afternoons, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

Ronald Weihs, Artistic Director of Artword Theatre, will be giving workshops in ensemble theatre techniques.

There is no charge for the workshops. However, they are by invitation, which means a "get acquainted" audition to find out if we want to work together. To schedule an audition, send an email to artword@artword.net.

We're looking for people with a serious interest in a creative, ensemble approach to acting and the creation of theatre productions. If you have theatre experience that's good, but not essential. We welcome musicians, dancers and people with a range of skills.

In each workshop, the first hour (or so) is devoted to technical skills: relaxation, voice, movement, awareness of one another. In the second part, we explore various creative challenges.
